I never got the point of loadouts in quake live the big part of FFA was to find and collect your own weapons! Now it's just a DM fest,

I'm p sure you still need to collect weapons in ffa, whenever you spawn though you start out with 1 decent weapon and 1 shittier weapon, both of which have like 2 bullets

gave it a go on steam recently and was disappointed that there was basically only a handful of populated servers...essentially none populated on CTF in most cases. :(
