Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate came out today, was wondering if there was any people on tf.tv that played the game, and maybe would like to play sometime.
just picked it up today been playing since MH on PS2
if you want someone to play with HMU
BonafideI was thinking about buying it, how is it?
its a really polarizing series, you'll either love it or hate it. its like an MMO in that you grind monster a lot but the grind is significantly more interesting in that its an action game rather than an RPG

Well I have an american 2ds, and It's quite hassle to import so if it wasn't worth it (for example if there was nothing new over 3u) but there is multiplayer and new monsters, or im just gonna have to save some more money and buy the new 3ds with 4u in my own region. Thanks anyway

I've played MHFU for years, and am thinking about grabbing this one. Anyone got a recommendation to get this one, or Portable 3rd, or something else?
Haven't played monster hunter in ages (played it a bit on my friends' Wii U). Received it and Majora's Mask today - will definitely be brawling them between raids.

id still consider MHFU the ultimate monster hunter, but i really like the new things in MH4U so far
id say that its second right behind MHFU/MHP2G

I don't have a 3DS but I've been replaying FU on hamachi with a friend, and we will probably play through P3 once we're done.
emkay: P3 is a bunch of fun, but it's short. The new weapons are cool and the new monsters are fun, but everything is nerfed. Monsters are slower, weaker (both hp and damage, to the point that G-rank quests will take <5mins more often than not, and being ran over deals 12dmg after ticking the red back), and hitboxes are much smaller. It's trivial to get evasion+2 at basically every point in the game.
