Whenever I try to change my cl_interp to 0 in my autoexec.cfg and even my class cfg's it never saves and ingame when I check it says cl_interp 0.015152. Is that the minimum interp you can have or is my game broken?

A side question from me: How did some people achieve a lerp value of 0.014. I think I've seen it in some videos.

If you have cl_updaterate and cl_cmdrate values that are higher than 67, you can get some wonky lerp values.

You don't want cl_interp to go below its minimum anyway.

That said, it doesn't actually give you a lower value, it just shows it in netgraph, your actual interp will remain at 15.2

Side question, how important is lerp for hitscan? When I play roamer and off class to sniper, I still have 15.2 lerp. Would changing it to 33 (or whatever standard hitscan interp is) make a big difference in registration? Also, do I need to join spec to change it or can it be in my config.
Higher lerp means better hitreg (on lag compensated things) and worse timing. The timing is always worse, but how much better the hitreg is depends on the server and your connection and a million other things, so just use whatever's high enough for you (though I don't recommend going above 50 milliseconds because of the timing).
It can be in your config. I put it in my class configs.
