I'm considering on getting it. Only problem I might have is that I heard it was graphic intensive and I'm not sure if my GTX 550 could handle it :P

It is, but i'm on an i5/hd 6870 system and I play nearly maxed out and still get 60-80 fps so it doesn't seem too too bad. not sure how that compares to your system though

the game is based on vehicle zergs.
whichever team has the most tanks/aircraft wins, the only time infantry can actually turn the tide of the battle are in the larger bases (biodomes and the like) and they have no interest in changing that about the game.
i also heard there was a bug that caused vehicles to become invincible, lol.
and your 550 should be just fine assuming you have a good CPU.

I haven't seen that bug but i'm sure it would be patched out asap, and yeah using enough vehicles to completely control a battle is gay but lately i've been involved in a lot of massive infantry battles/sieges so that refreshed my opinion about the game a lot

I've played it. It's not bad. You have to play a ton to get weapons that are decent at all.

It's a great game, but they haven't done shit to optimize it so my computer bakes like a potato under intense fire fights. The only -downside- I can think of is the combat, It's a huge improvement over PS1's combat which used a "spread cone" type system, but now it feels way too much like battlefield 3's combat where you're constantly sprinting from cover to cover whilst taking potshots at enemies. They've also docked the entire "social aspect" of the game when they eliminated the sanctuary.
The only thing that really fucking pisses me off ATM is the metagame. As of now, anti-air is way too fucking powerful, so you wont see much aircraft, However, what you WILL see are large formations of tanks that obliterate everything in their path. The only counter to this is either a) more tanks or b) heavy assault which pisses me off because all they're creating is massive large scale fuckfests which dont contribute to the capture of bases, but allow enemies to sneak by and essentially back cap their base. If you need an example of this, go play as NC on Indar.

Is it possible to fly without a joystick yet. I was part of the alpha test and a little playtime during beta, and I really wasn't a fun. I'm one of the people that felt like it should've been more like PS1. Also, having to buy perks for 24 hours is really stupid

honestly the only thing you need to run this game well is a good cpu (hence why i have shit peroformance on high pop servers)

Is anyone else having problems with crashing? I crash every 5-10 minutes, but in that little time I play its really fun. Hopefully they fix the problem.

I haven't had any issues with crashing but sometimes i'm not even able to log in, i'm sure its something that will be fixed soon considering the game hasn't even been out a week.

Game is fine but I get 30 frames in big fights or whenever I'm in a tank. I have a i5 2500k, 570 GTX and 8GB RAM, all the settings on lowest and even messed with useroptions.ini to lower it further. On top of bad fps, people often appear out of nowhere if there's a lot of them which makes the bigger fights fucking annoying.
But... past all of that the game is kinda fun. If you can join a big group that are all attacking the same place it's pretty cool, unlike any other FPS as their marketing says.

It's also kind of overwhelming how useless you are in the game. It always seems to just stalemate at some point with people just spamming from either side of a shield door or something. There's really nothing you can do to be useful at all.

If there's going to be that many vehicles at least make it so that tanks cant take 4 infantry rockets and still survive.

Became pay to win after beta. Using vanilla weapons is fine I guess (core game is still fun), but I have yet to actually play it since it was released on steam :x
