ytrrium, I like your second style of icon better - it is more abstract. However, if you mix the second icon with the first font, it would be gold - simplistic. The first icon reminds me of the old style of TVs, which I don't think is appropriate for this day and age.

The second font was an intentional joke, hence why "don't think I've nailed the font quite yet". Funnily enough, while the first icon is definitely styled after an old TV, the second icon is still using the warped shape of a CRT TV.

Here's where I'm at with it right now. I'm kind of liking this font but not sure if small caps is the way to go.

anyway why don't you just roll with that one? it seriously looks great, the only change i would make would be to place the cap point icon to the left of the small icon in the same monochrome color with the exact same height
