Shin Ramyun (Korean brand) or Nissin (Japanese brand) or Nongshim (another Korean brand) are all good if you're just looking to have noodles + water + seasoning. Maruchan sucks...

yeah my favorite is also shin ramyun or nongshim for instant cup noodles
i think that shin black bowl is one of the highest rated instant noodles on a lot of ranking sites lol

i've tried so many different brands

the deluxe bowls you can get in japan are also really good, but it's like $5-7 if you buy it locally here, so that really sucks

Cup noodles have always tasted the same to me. Seafood generally has a nicer flavor in my experience.

Living in Vancouver it's not that difficult to find, not sure about anywhere else though
