bragging about getting picked up by an invite team for like 3/16ths of an actual season is actually pants on head retarded. there have been 8 or 9 invite teams every season, that's 18 seasons. EVERY season, 5 teams DO NOT make it to LAN. most of them die after 1 season of playing, some after 2, and very rarely, they will stick around for 3.

you do the math there. that's over 1/2 of the division typically being cycled and moved around every year. typically, once people make it to a low invite team and play a fair amount of matches, they realize how fucking retarded bragging about "making invite" is, because they intuitively know and understand the enormous skill divide between low and high invite-- because theyre getting pounded in the division.

Some of those players (not you obviously, your team died and you have no history in the div beyond that), they will cycle through, playing on different teams and with dogged determination (not you, since you played 2 matches), humility (not you, since you're bragging about it on the forum), and practice (not you, because you're trolling low/mid teams you find in IRC), make it to LAN, at which point they have their god given rights to brag about being skilled.

now, obviously, there's an exception to every rule, but that's by and large how things go for low invite teams like r5.
