Street Hoops to take a decent first half, but Froyo to get its shit together for a 5-3 win.
eLevate to get demolished first half, then to put up a pyro to steal a round or two, and ultimately Froyo to close it out at
5-2.
Thanks sim!
The season is finally on it's last legs, and it's only appropriate that we finally give some attention to the juggernaut team that is Froyotech. All odds are against Street Hoops and eLevate to defeat what may still be the best North American team TF2 has ever seen and spoil their perfect season in a double header on cp_granary. As well, due to extenuating circumstances, the cast will be produced by (of all things) a European! Join Getawhale, Marxist and Sim as we begin to close out the 18th season of ESEA-Invite.

It took 1 min fo Ma3la to go pyro, and we see a full time heavy from Elevate. Go figure.
Good cast Marxist and Getawhale, except for "pyro is a pick class"
I guess all it took was 1 round for 4G to get their shit together.

Spoke more about this during a Sunshine cast.. we were discussing how it seems questionable to run Pyro to mid. My view on it is that Pyro is a situational thing, that you should only run in very specific situations Like a Sniper or a Spy. "Pick class" doesn't really apply, you're right. But it's similar to those pick classes in the ways I described, in my view.
I just watched last nights cast. I loved that you took the thread you made to heart, Getawhale. I never thought you were a bad caster, but hearing you emphasize how important certain plays are and show enthusiasm was a nice touch. One personal thing you haven't changed that bothers me though: When you repeat the last sentence your co-caster says. It doesn't happen often, it's just, I don't like when anyone does that. It was always the one thing I disliked about your casting. Great job though.
That was an excellent cast getawhale, definitely your best so far. I'm glad to see you're changing up things. Honestly I wasn't the biggest fan of you before, but you've completely changed my opinion. Good job man, power to you.
"That is just mathematical. There's 4 and there's 2 and you want to cheer for the 4"
That comment by Getawhale reminded me of this video and I couldn't stop giggling for the rest of the match: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtvqzK3SX2U
Thanks guys. I was pleased with these too.

Still working at it - it can be difficult to work on a pile of things all at once. My strategy is work on certain things until they're muscle memory, then move on. In the end, ideally you carry everything forward and are better each time.
Thanks guys for the comments, I continue to appreciate them.
