Whenever I move my mouse quickly to do a 180 my crosshair stops moving. Its usually not an issue because I have to move my angel hair pasta-like arms pretty damn fast for this to happen, but it has fucked me over a few times when I'm trying to hit those clutch, 180, twitch aim, 9 damage meatshots. My sensitivity right now is 14.2 inches/360 with my mouse set to 1150 DPI and 1000hz. Has anybody else here had this problem before? I'm trying to figure out if I should use a DPI this mouse may be better suited for, clean the lens (im kinda scared about doing this ;_;), or if my mouse is just fucked up.
happens to me too i just deal with it
also does anyone with the new zowie mice know if this is still an issue or did the new sensor fix that

This happens when you reach the malfunction speed, iirc for evo series it is 4.6m/s.

Zowie EC-A series have the 3310 sensor and its max speed is like 7.6m/s, so yes, they fixed that.

i would suggest it's extremely difficult to hit 4.6m/s with your pasta-like arms (i share this trait) especially while turning with a direction in mind. it could be your mousepad lowering the malfunction speed, what are you using?
alternatively download Enotus MouseTest and find your malfunction speed

soft steelseries QcK. This issue honestly doesnt come up too often during gameplay but it is extremely annoying when it does happen because it makes my mouse completely freeze for half a second.
Used to happen with both my FK and EC1 (same sensor) when using them on a non-all black mousepad
You can try using 2300 DPI and see if that fixes it, for me it was a matter of switching pads
Try cleaning under the sensor with a qtip and rubbing alcohol/water. I wouldn't worry about cleaning it, at least for the Zowie mice they all have a plastic panel over the sensor
FK1 fixed all the sensor problems and works on colored pads
Doing the mouse test I got a 5.77 m/s max speed, could probably work faster but I wasn't able to move my arm fast enough to test it (lol)

another reason why zowie fk1 is the best mouse in the world

That's really weird because I moved TO a soft QcK when I had this exact problem and it went away, I'm using 15.9 inches/360 atm for reference.

Oh shit I thought I was the only one with this issue this also happens with the stock ec2. However this issue ours at random times when It first happened to me I could re inact the issue by swiping my mouse repeatedly. But this seems to not happen in other games that I play is it because I'm using 1500 dpi?
its because of the low lift off distance from zowies custom lens
the qck is one of the better pads for tracking with low lod mice, so changing mousepad probably won't fix it.
a black pad with harder base is the only thing that might be better
really the problem is the mouse, you can mod the mouse to remove the custom lens part.
when you open the mouse, take out the lens and you will see its molded in two parts. the small part is the custom piece zowie added, essentially a lens filter. pry it off with a small screw driver, put the main part of the lens back in and reassemble the mouse.
the excess light can be deflected by taping a strip of aluminum foil on the bottom of the mouse behind the lens opening and pushing it down into the opening (this part is not strictly necessary, but it is better)
the lens filter just makes it harder for light to pass through, to give a lower lift off distance.
its making the sensor shittier so they can claim 1mm lod

if you're scared of cleaning the lens then idk about this mod. its pretty easy though.
there's literally nothing to be scared about with opening a mouse.
