CEVO did this in a recent client update

After months of research and development, we've added a big "X" to the top-right of the client that allows it to be closed at any time. Additionally, we've collaborated closely with Microsoft to allow you to add a new item called a "shortcut" to your Desktop, giving you the ability to open the client whenever you'd like to enjoy a bluescreen-free experience. Progress.

So.. which company is doing a better job

esea has a better league, userbase, pug/scrim system, and anti-cheat
cevo has a less intrusive client and arguably better admins. then again lpkane did help me get into my hotel room last lan so maybe i'm biased!

It's kind of funny that CEVO thinks it's a competitor to ESEA in the cs scene. It's like Alabama football players thinking they could hang with the Patriots. Yeah they're providing the same service but the quality is in another stratosphere.
