IIRC Rhino is pretty much the Heavy except he kills you 5 times as fast.
Almost as fun as playing on Chapel against a team of Skyhammers.

Man, this game really need some kind of auto balance. I've tried to join pubs like 5 times today and in every single one my team was filled with lvl 1s and the other teams was all from level 5 to level 30. Couldn't even get out of spawn.

I don't know what I pressed, but there is at least a vote option to shuffle teams in the game, it flashed up while I was figuring out the voice controls. I completely agree though, 4 Skyhammers isn't fun.

is there any way to disable the ingame voice without just muting the entire game
I'll be honest I stopped playing this game when it started getting complicated is it still fun? Or Idk has it improved at all
seems like there are some balance issues and the quickplay matchmaking is basically garbage. my friend and i hopped into our first match together and were up against a team with 3 level 7s, a level 6, and a level 5. our team was just us at level 1, a level 3, and two level 4s. i voted to scramble and the opposite team called us shit and expressed how surprised they were that it was "day one and the babies are already here". one of the level 7s was that rhino guy i think, because i remember dying to a minigun over and over in less than a second.
can't see this game going anywhere unless they fix balance issues and the poor matchmaking because, bad community aside, it's the most discouraging thing about this game

lets see the balance is actually quite good you just don't have all the mercs or proper knowledge on how to counter everything. 2nd of all don't use the quickplay matchmaking just use the server browser. the competitive matchmaking is where the real problems are right now because if you don't que with 5 people your gunna get destroyed.
also i'm pretty sure the scramble doesn't even work and levels mean very little unless someone is 20+ which is where most of the experienced comp players or older beta players are at right now. i'm level 27 and have been in the beta for 5+ months back when there were only a couple hundred players and starting out back then i was playing mostly against people with 2 years experience. so starting our right now you got it easy since vast majority of the playerbase just started from open beta or have only been in a few weeks.

I've been playing this game for about a year and half and most of the player base is from COD, the scum of CS players, and some BLR players. It seems to me that they're the most toxic gamers i have ever met, if you were ever to find yourself playing this game competitively i highly suggest playing with your tf2 friends.
When the game was in beta it had a lot of promise apart from the F2P aspect with the loadouts they got going, it's such a shame that this seems to be moving to more of a cash grab than anything else. There are so many anti competitive decisions it's just doesn't make sense on how they think these things would work.
you can buy every loadout card now for 17k credits

I don't really know what you're talking about, have you been following the most recent changes to credits? Every possible loadout is available at a bronze tier, you can trade up to bronze cards super easy, or buy ones directly for 17.5k. In the time it takes to start to have a good understanding of the game you will probably have your favorite loadout for 2-3 mercs.

The loadout system isn't perfect, but splash damage actually seems to be listening to peoples complaints. They made all loadouts available in bronze, they up credit rates multiple times, and added private pug/tourny servers. Its a slow process but it shows that they're actually willing to listen to the community.
I tried the open beta yesterday. My first impression? If you have more than 1 Aura in a team, you'll be invincible. The first defense on Underground are practically impenetrable. Fraggers pretty good, and annoying at the same time. Fuck that grenade.
quickplay puts you onto 300 ping asia servers and the server browser is slow and clunky as hell
unreal engine is garbage
netcode is garbage (killing eachother with hitscan) and I swear half of the time I go to revive someone it just flat out misses
class balance is still bad
people still don't know what they're doing which makes pubs very frustrating (i know its beta)
f2p freemium model isn't so bad but I really wish they would use something more like csgo
community is still russian dota-tier
they havent really innovated or fixed any of the same problems the game had 8 months ago in the alpha
still probably one of the best pub games to play if you dont like battlefield
it has f2p going for it i guess

My main issue with the game, is it doesn't feel satisfying. Like, I understand its a team based game. But theres no "skillshots" kinda like a airshot or a good sticky trap. It doesn't give feedback. Also with the system that every character can use the same gun, with the exception of a few, loadout cards of high tiers aren't really worth it. From the ~30 PUGs I played I never really found it fun, it feels too spray it and less dm based.
What was everyone's first competitive rank? I managed to get Gold 4, which from what I understand is only a few behind Cobalt (the highest rank in the game). Think the ranks definitely need expanding if that's the case.

theres no reaspn for them to expand a ranking system thats already broken and has alsmost 0 players searching at one time. PUGs are a lot better in terms of people not leaving. After about 30 or so PUGs i personally dont enjoy the gameplay. It doesnt feel rewarding.
