then again we have been on this level for an hour and 10 minutes now so maybe it's not beatable

I got bored at level 17, I don't know how I even got there because I was just idle on the screen for 3 hours and came back to being level 14.

this cookie clicker game might be the most evil game valve has ever made
fatswimdudeEdLolingtonWhen super shitty games are on sale for $0.14 or $0.19 or something, if they have trading cards you'll make a profit if you buy the game and idle over night.
big 20 cent profit
Hey! 50 cents is a lot of money! You save 50 cents here, you go somewhere else save another 50 cents, you have one dollar. You take your dollar you go to dollar store, you buy something else. Be a man, do the right thing!

lego jurassic world came out today and it's already a daily deal. lego games never disappoint.
GetawhaleSeriously though, how does everything break every time there's a new sale? Are they not expecting a huge influx of traffic? Can they not prepare for it somehow by now? I'll admit I'm clueless and would love someone to tell me how reasonable it is.
It's not cost effective to pay for the processing power (or whatever the bottleneck is in this case, bandwidth maybe) to support a server load that only ever occurs 0.2% of the time. Server "power" is usually designed to handle an average or expected number of requests, not a maximum.
I'm not an expert in infrastructure, so wouldn't know if they could necessarily offset that "power" with temporary servers, but even if they could, I doubt they lose any money at all as a result of the down time they experience.

$9 for the whole series if you act now: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CRN9CC0/
(You can't get ME3 on Steam, so may as well get the whole series off Steam IMO)

PankeymanValkyria Chronicles is 75% off. It's a great game and I'd highly recommend it.
It's an anime game with a pretty shitty cliche anime story but the gameplay is actually pretty cool if you're into SRPGs.

Pubbing in DoD 1.3 is pretty much a joke. There are only a few servers worth joining, most of them being filled with mods and/or bots. Trying to find 12 mans is pretty much impossible. I think nineteeneleven used to do pugs years ago with former dod invite players, but that website seems pretty inactive now.
Pubbing in DoDS is fine for the most part. You'll still run into a decent amount of servers that run realism mods and other crap, but there's quite a few mod-free servers. It should be easier to find 12 mans in DoDS, but not by much.
All things considered, both games are incredibly fun.

Just to let you know, if you buy the GTA V + Shark card bundle, you can't refund it.
Also there are several games that had their price raised before the sale started. Check the Steam Spy twitter, it has some tweets about games that went up in price just before the sale hit.

DeadCore is only 2.50 right now.
It's a twitch fps speedrun defrag type game. Really satisfying to beat. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes jump/surf maps.

here is a speedrun of the 3rd level (with not rocket jumps, although you can get them it just makes it a lot easier, its possible to clear the whole game without)

Returns make fighting price gouging a whole lot easier, but try to hold onto your money and don't be like Ringo who spilled and lost all of his shekels during an unfortunate saloon.tf bet.
That being said, look for the following to go on really good sales due to their sale history:
- Legend of Grimrock series
- Hammerwatch (super fun co-op, boring alone unless you like a slow challenge)
- FTL
- Deathtrap Dungeon
- Legacy of Kain series
- Risk of Rain
- Shining Force 1 and 2
- Ziggurat (it'll come around again during the encore sale I hope)
- Serious Sam (as of 6/12 @ 8:22pm you can get SS 1 and 2 HD for $4.50)
- FEAR 1
- E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy
- Stronghold & Stronghold Crusader HD
- EDIT: Dance# usually has garbage taste but Deadcore is amazing
There's probably more but those are just off the top of my head. If you're someone trying to avoid buying a whole lot on Steam for whatever reasons/fears you may have, you should check out the tail-end of GoG's summer sale. Got quite a few amazing games for slick deals, some games that are on Steam have even better deals on GoG too.

Castle crashers is $1.69 Canadian (probably $1 American). Definitely worth that little
I'm looking at Metro Last Light redux, but sadly there are still some bugs and extra DLC stuff to be bought that are deterring me from buying it.
That said, I like the Cookie Clicker minigame but I think the stretch goals are a bit pointless. Maybe if it had a stretch goal of bought games / spent money (like the DOTA2 fund raiser is doing atm) it would encourage people to do stuff.

Tabletop's price raised because it unfortunately went out of early access on the 5th.
