I need to clean 2 lcd monitors for a LAN on Wednesday. However, today is Monday, leaving no time to order anything. I have a best buy near me, and windex in the household. What's the safest and most effective way to clean them with the resources stated above?
I just use one of these with water on a glasses cleaning cloth

I use paper towels + Anti bacterial spray and then Windex.
1 paper towel for each minimun ( 1 sheet for the anti bacterial, 1 sheet to dry it, 1 sheet for Windex, 1 more sheet to dry it.)

Will the windex kill the anti-glare coating on the screen as #2 has stated?
I have owned my monitor for a year now, I clean it weekly.
It looks brand new to me. I have a BenQ XL2411Z.
I can only talk about experience though.

A bit of water on a soft cloth is all you need. Never spray anything directly on the screen, never use cleaners that have ammonia or alcohol.
Yours gets all the way on your monitor? Usually mine just lands on my t shirt.
