I live in fucking "wine country" California. I have to deal with annoying ass winos and people who think they're all fancy just because they drink wine. Then there's the assholes who put like 2 goddamn rows of grape vines in their backyard, hire a Mexican to pick them once a year, take it to a local winery who puts it in a bottle, and then they get to brag to all their friends that they have their own brand of wine.
I have to deal with rich assholes in their Porches driving drunk around on the streets after they spent the entire day driving around to every goddamn winery and tasting room. I have to deal with the shitty winery tour busses holding up traffic every day. And everyone thinks they're sooooo "cultured" and shit because they drink wine like it's beer.

Any Wine thread without a mention of Portuguese wine is a loss in my books.
After all we have mastered the art of wine making, and more importantly, wine drinking. I've probably drank more wine than soda in my life.
