I'm not having this issue on my end, if you get the chance maybe you have a screenshot so I can see exactly what's happening?

They are part of the hud.

Oh, I mean in some huds when you get a buff, instead of the numbers changing color a coloured box appears behind the numbers. But it's not very important, anyway.

Here's the zhud fix. I'll probably be updating it from now on. It's tough break ready (contracts, scoreboard, etc.), and supports competitive and mvm (somewhat).
