you could say he was a bit rusty, I think after he got into uni this year his focus shifted more to his studies than tf2 but I can see him getting back on form again.

Also he already joined a team http://etf2l.org/teams/25225/ with ipz, retshock, etc...

Thats the thing about eu though. People here dont see tf2 as a "job". NA has b4nny who's the only truly professional tf2 player, as in his profession is literally tf2. So of course he'll dedicate more time than any other player that sees tf2 as a mere hobby and force his team to practice on a tighter schedule thereby outperforming other "amateur" tf2 teams.

Also people here don't see tf2 as a "job" cause there is literally no incentive to do so rather than the yearly lan. In NA they have ESEA ones, which allow them to adapt better to lan environment (and the incentive to pratice to play in a lan is bigger as well).

Dont get me wrong, I wasn't trying to fire shots at the eu players, you fgts are great. All I said was that NA is a bit ahead on the whole "esports or streaming as a legit career" thing so of course they'll have more dedicated players.

you cant just call names out and expect them to mesh as well as froyo some of these people probably hate their style of tf2

umm aim that's i52 epsi -war -bash +schocky +numlocked and i49 epsi -gear -bash +kiler +tek
also you could've made the argument about froyo initially that you couldn't just put a whole bunch of powerhouses toghether and expect it to work

Personally I think Mike has an absolute synergy with KnOxXx making a combo that is quite at the same level of b4nny & Shade, and since a solid combo of which members know each other really well is the cornerstone of a good team that would be a good start for a team capable of everything..

mike knox is the absolute best combo. i've never felt so snug and safe as a demoman

who knows if epsilon players will synergize on an epsilon remake!

seriously though, kiler is the only person that could be replaced (stark, cookye??, etc), I was playing safe because of the playstyle issue, who knows if the other alternatives would have fit the epsilon style. The i49 combo was so strong however I dont think it can be replaced. numlocked and mike destroyed everything and knoxx+numlocked both calling was p great

TLR and Harb anyone?

I think Zebbo+Mirelin, yuki+bonobo and B4nny+Shade/lanksy+Shade are the only combos in recent TF2 history I'd rate as consistently being close to, or on the same level as Mike and Knoxxx.

It doesn't matter what power team the euros want to make as long as they still are trying to play maps with just one scout

The recent EU roamers that are eligible for a team of that caliber (Mike excluded) are:
zappis, starkie, zebbosai, tek, zoob and maybe shadowburn (but in my opinion he isn't playing a mind game yet, and that's what it's needed to beat 4G; that's why i think [R] put up a better show on LBF rather than nR in the UBF: they beat and tied with strategies and counter-strategies and not with extraordinary big -and unfortunatly- unique plays).
Maybe it's just me but I can't see here any roamer you can count on almost every time to put up a good performance yet, but you know... i58 is still far and if a team of Epsilon level start practicing immidiatly it's absolutly possible to forge one of the above-mentioned roaming soldiers.
Finally I really hope 32erz team isn't a joke team as it seems to me because it would be a fantastic opponent to fight and practice against, like broder were in 2012/13!

I think i55 showed Stark is Europeans best roaming scout, the most consistent anyway, and would hopefully be a great fit for any possible i49 epsi superteam reform. Then its just about finding a good superteam quality roamer (zebbo, tek, shadowburn, rising?) who can work with Numlocked, Mike, Knoxx and Schockys experience (assuming geaR doesnt have a comeback or basH regain his old form). Then again, who knows which players will emerge over the course of this year, I think the next few seasons are going to be great and Im extremely excited for any possible Epsi reform considering we still have never seen any true NA vs EU superteam matchup with the absolute best both continents have to offer.
