do you mean the buff and hurt dynamic crosses? if so, you can disable them in HudPlayerHealth.res by setting PlayerStatusHealthBonusImage visible and enabled to 0.
I want the entire cross gone, that disables the animation but I dont want anything to appear when buffed/hurt besides the color changing.
Oh, sorry. Just change the ypos and xpos of the same entry to 9999.

Generally, my favourite hud to use, simple and clean. very nice
But i ran into one problem i couldn't solve myself because i couldn't find the problem causing this:
I get konrwings (or whatever they're called) whenever i play sniper, and only on sniper.
i hope anyone could help me getting rid of this, since i'd prefer to play with the default crosshair
(p.s. i tried reinstalling the hud, didn't work)

You could try changing xpos ypos wide and tall values, but other than that i don`t believe that you can.

Try going to HudAchievementItemTracker.res, and changing the visible and enable of the crosshair entry to "0".

I don't know if it's actually a bug, but i can't switch to beta mode by clicking on the square when i'm on the game mode selection
Edit: Never mind, it was a steam client issue that was set on opt-out from beta

That's how it should be. However, you are able to move it up on the screen by going to hudlayout.res in the scripts folder, and finding the entry for winpanel. change its ypos and do a hud_reloadscheme and tweak it to your liking.

One last question.
Under the file HudPlayerClass. Is there a way to change how much of the player model is shown, for instance, the box the character is in cuts off things like the flamethrower.

im still not a huge fan of using red hp number on a red cross. terrible visibility. big kudos for the readyup thing.

You need 2 files to do that. First, in custom/yourstuff/resource/ClientScheme.res, do a ctrl+f search for "damage". The first hit should be under the Color Options section. This will change the color of your damage numbers. Use the values 255 255 255 255 for all white. It should look like this:

Then, in custom/yourstuff/resource/ui/HudDamageAccount.res make sure that everywhere it says "font" it is set to "solFontRegular21" or "solFontBold21" which is, I think, the default for bwHud. If it is changed to another font, just look for that font in the following steps instead.
