Hey tftv, I know there probably has been a few questions about what earbuds to buy. I'm looking for a good pair if earbuds any of you guys would recommend would be greatly appreciated. I don't really have a budget since earbuds aren't too expensive compared to headphones. Thanks in advance!
Soundmagic e10s have been good to me for around 7-8 months now. The sound is good for the price, the cords refuse to tangle, and they come with plenty of tips so you should find something comfortable.

none, their prices keep falling. if you need them now, lvl 100 or bust

honsAnyone here use sennheiser cx300s?
I'm using those. Pretty happy with them, great sound and price wasn't bad, but recently the audio just cut out on the right bud. They're under warranty, but its a tad concerning given that I've had them for only like 8 months.
I personally only use earbuds for gaming and a snowball ice mic. Earbuds imo are the better choice as they are cheaper to replace, much more portable for taking them to lans, etc, and they are VERY light and comfortable compared to headphones. I have been using earbuds for a VERY long time now, and I must say, my personal favorites are the skullcandy 50/50's. I know that skullcandy is labeled as "overrated" but I have to disagree. The 50/50's are a bit dated, so I would also maybe recommend the Ink'd, but my favorite ones are the 50/50's. THey have lasted me a full year now. The mic is half decent on it surprisingly, like I played a few lobbies with them and people said it sounded fine, however, I wouldn't recommend on relying on it full time.

There is some legit ones on Amazon I think. Someone will have a link.
Got mine here (rick recommended) http://www.geekbuying.com/item/New-Original-Xiaomi-Smartphone-Piston-II-In-Ear-Earphones-Wire-Control-Mic-for-iPhone-iPod-Android---Black-343327.html
Might take like a month to arrive though.

monoprice 9927s (http://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=9927)are cheap with exceptional mix balance and sound quality and theres not a fuckton of bass
build quality is kinda bad though and theres a bunch of cable noise (which shouldnt affect you if you dont move your head around a lot)
also the pistons have enough bass to make lots of things sound pretty mono so beware of bassy sounds killing directional awareness or ruining the stereo image of music

Xiaomi Pistons are absolutely great for the price and have moderate isolation as well. I'd recommend picking up some tips from somewhere like Comply to improve on the isolation even more.
If you're using them somewhere loud, Shure SE215s are a dream for isolation and will sound really great right off the bat no matter what your setup is.

geekbuying should be ok, that was where i bought my piston 3's when they first launched. If you don't want to wait for them to come from china head-fi keeps a list of sites in the pistons thread, at least some of which are usually na based

I've been using the Bose IE2s for a year or two and they're great.
They sound good and have never fallen out of my ear.

im using the cx300 II's, they are pretty nice, my only complaint with them is that the cord on the left ear is shorter than the right, dont know if thats just mine but it is what it is.

its intended, so you can rest one cord over your neck and it wont fall down when you are not listening to anything and you dont have to put them back in your pocket
cx 300 II are pretty good for their price + 2 years of warranty, so basically you buy them once forever. unless you manage to cut the cord or something.

Check out this thread for the piston 3's. I was thinking of getting these as a back up, if/when my piston 2's die out.
I like the Soundmagic E80, their sound quality almost comparable to the Sennheiser HD650 headphones and the buds included are very comfortable. Although, they are a bit pricey and require slight amplification to get their full usage.
