Using my CFG, at stock clock, I'd guess around 160-170fps average.
Your map load time would be ridiculously low as well.
-edit-
if you plan on streaming though you'll take a much larger FPS hit than if you have a i7, but that's not really what you asked.

Apologies for derailing the topic for a bit, but what exactly influences map load times?
RAM Speed, and SSD/HDD speed are the 2 most important factors. (so long as you have plenty of RAM i.e. more than 4GB for most PCs)
so for lowest load times
(Fastest)PCI-E SSD > SSD > 10K RPM HDD > 7200RPM HDD > 5400RPM HDD (slowest)
RAM
basically as high of a speed you can get for the lowest CL you can get in that category. Also Speed is more important than Cas Latency. For more specifics you'd have to ask setsul or google it.
-edit-
to some extent internetspeed/latency would be important too.

maelstromgo with an i7 instead
you'll get more frames and stream performance will be better
if you really do not want to spend the extra hundred for an i7, then go with an i5. The 4690k is overclockable, has newerarchitecture (skylake), and is 5 dollars cheaper than the xeon based on newegg prices.
Xeons are generally only used for servers and business workstations.
You are completely wrong.
The 4690k is NOT SKYLAKE, it's Haswell, which is the same architecture as the Xeon E3-1231-V3
The Xeon option gets you hyperthreading, and you don't have to pay for onboard graphics, essentially it's an i7 without the gpu core: http://ark.intel.com/compare/80811,80910
Please see any of Setsul's recommendations: http://www.teamfortress.tv/12714/pc-build-thread/?page=all
Getting a Skylake CPU may be a more future proof option (such as the i5-6600K)

No, see #7.
#7
Future proofing is a buzzword and an illusion.
#8/1
16GB RAM is overkill imho.
If you're not building right away wait for Skylake Xeons. E3-1230 v5 could be interesting.

Xeon v5 released just now.

lmao u should search the forums for "future proof" p sure I remember techdude and I having a banter battle over the term LOL
EDIT: I remember you posting in it, Setsul, now that I think about it. good times

Yep, same clock speed (so should be slightly faster) and same official price. Now we just have to wait how much it'll actually cost. Even though it is slightly faster the mobos are slightly more expensive, so to be worth it the CPU itself can't be much more expensive than its predecessor.
