Just wondering what kind of surgeries you guys have had and what experiences you've had with them. I had 1 hip surgery on a torn labrum last december, and I tore the same thing this year playing football and I'll be getting another surgery. I overall had good experiences with anesthesia and stuff and really had no issues. Wasn't really nervous at all but I know some people are really nervous and anxious about stuff like that. Just curious
Had one on my nuts to help with a undescend testicle and had one on my neck to remove part of my skull and the c1 c2 satellite bones due to having a Chiari malformation(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold%E2%80%93Chiari_malformation) and having a syrinx in the spine(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syringomyelia0.
Had wisdom teeth removed if that counts + broke my fibula, was not a great time. Anesthesia sucked because you're not supposed to eat or drink 8 hours before surgery, so you end up waking up with like a 12-hour long thirst and hunger
Testicular torsion
It fucking hurt. Literally the worst thing i've experienced in my life.

I had my appendix removed and my wisdom teeth pulled, both were relatively painless
The entire week after I got my wisdom teeth pulled I was moreso numb and just not conscious, better than being in pain I guess

When I had my wisdom teeth taken out years ago I was an idiot and decided to smoke something before it was fully healed. Ended up getting dry sockets on both sides of my lower jaw. Got them treated, however the packing never dissolved fully and about a month later I took it out myself. Next day, woke up with the same dry socket pain I had experienced a month ago.
Never had a super serious injury before but I must say this was by far the worst pain I've ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor after you get your wisdom teeth out if you haven't already: never do anything that could potentially pull that clot out, because dry sockets hurt like a bitch

I got 4 of my baby teeth pulled as a kid and then had to have them pulled again once they grew back in the same place, then a few years later got to have my wisdom teeth removed which was fun.
i pissed the bed too much growing up so i had a tube shoved up my dick to fill my bladder and test for stuff i dont think thats a surgery but it hurt a lot
rugby I took a knee to the face and snapped my orbital on my right side which shifted my face plate, along with my zygomatic being shattered to pieces. The surgery consisted of an incision through the gums above my top teeth about 3 inches long and having a metal rod shoved through my face to realign the bones.
I lost some nerve endings from the impact which made my face slightly numb, but during surgery the whole nerve was removed from the amount of the tissue being moved around, so now I cant feel the right side of my face on my cheek, under my eye, the right nostril, and the right side bottom and top row teeth.

i had appendicitis in the 5th grade, a whole week of throwing up and a lot of pain lol (it was kind of close to rupturing)
i had a fever when the doctor gave me the drugs or watever that help when taking wisdom teeth out and soon after i took a nap and had hallucinations that a bear was about to attack me so according to my parents, i curled up into a ball in my house and kept saying "im leaking" and needed to be taken to the hospital to get help
Wisdom teeth, I just remember waking up and my mouth was bleeding at it sucked.
Had my tonsils removed in 1st grade, as well as my adenoids. Since adenoids are just soft tissue, it bleeds a lot, so much so that my doctor couldn't tell if they were all gone, and guess what, they grow back, so I've had them removed 3 times. I remember being put under with a pristine white pillow fresh out of the wrapping, and waking up thinking I was a ghost and died on the table because that pillow was crimson red, I had no idea I could bleed that much and not die.

i had a cyst removed from my ass and now there's a 6 in scar running above my crack :(
I have had two. I had to get my gallbladder removed some scary stuff happend as I did not wake up for 4 hours after the surgery and I had to be put on life support https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudocholinesterase_deficiency
My other surgery was where I was bitten by a spider on my armpit and I had to get it cut open. Now I have a scar that makes my armpit look like a vagina :|

knee reconstruction. Tore my acl full, partially tore my pcl, and peeled up part of my meniscus
that and my wisdom teeth (all four were impacted) are the only things I've gone under for.

I've had a total of 12 teeth pulled out through oral surgery. 8 baby teeth, and later 4 adult teeth.
I went and played a hockey game two days after the 4 adult teeth. Smart decisions kappa

not the worst, but the most surreal: had to get a tooth pulled, sleeping gas didn't work on me so I was at best sleepy for most of it, and because I'm a cheap fuck I just walked home half-conscious with a tissue in my mouth to stop the bleeding
Broke my left arm and it was pretty fucked up. Bunch of nerves were pinched, had to get surgery at like 11 at night, all I can remember is telling the nurse I want something to eat when I'm done. Ended up with 16/17 stitches, which are nice to show off.
Broke my other arm on another occasion, but didn't need surgery for that.
Also dislocated my shoulder more than a year ago, didn't have surgery because i wouldn't be able to play sports anymore. Well it didn't fully heal so I still can't play sports fml
Had my wisdom tooth pulled too, wasn't that bad tbh.
Oh and I had a hole in my foot one time, was fun

this happened to me when they did my wisdom teeth. they told me to count backwards from 10 and I got to 1 and said "now what" and the anesthesiologist just looked at the oral surgeon and said "guess I got the dosage wrong"

I had my wisdom teeth removed. I forgot that there were stitches in, so I accidentally pulled them out. I put some gauze over the now open wound and went to sleep. The next morning when I woke up I pulled the gauze out and there was a big blood clot stuck to it. I could feel it coming out of my jaw as I pulled it out.
Then later on I had my entire upper jaw removed, cut into 3 pieces, and then put back into my head with titanium pins. I got my mouth wired shut for 2 weeks while I healed and I could only eat liquids the entire time.
When I got the wires removed and was able to open my mouth again I could barely open it more than an inch.
Then once that was done they had to go in and put pig bones into my jaw, then once that was done they drilled back in, to put in screw holes for implants. When that was done they cut back into my mouth to expose the screws so they could put the implants in.
And my orthodontist is still trying to get my bite correct.

When I was little, I bit my tongue straight through. No anesthesia surgery.
4 wisdom teeth removed surgically under general anesthetic cause 3 were impacted (growing in sideways towards my other teeth)
Yeah that was not fun but they gave me good drugs for it.
