I tried to render a demo into an avi using srcDemo2, lawena and virtualdub, however the video came out like this:

https://youtu.be/st_EO9oo-lQ

it seems as if the video has been speed up, but i dunno how to change this welp.

If you right-click on your video and look at "Stats for nerds", you'll see your resolution set to 1280x720@6 fps

I would recommend manually setting the framerate to 60 / whatever you recorded in, rather than trusting VirtualDub to do it on it's own. Not that VDub is bad or anything, but there shouldn't be a problem setting it specifically.

If it's still not working, make sure you specified Lawena to record 60fps instead of 6 fps.

E: Also, don't touch host_timescale, you should only be adjusting host_framerate

aierawhy are you changing host_timescale

you're supposed to set host_timescale to 0.1 and host_framerate to 480 or whatever fps you would want to use

at least its what i do when i make my videos with tga files.

Thanks guys! I just found i forgot to set the framerate of lawena the same as srcdemo's 960 fps which makes it skip frames

Host_framerate overrides host_timescale. If you set host_framerate you don't need to touch host_timescale.

And Jerm, its important to let VirtualDub set the frame rate to match the audio duration because the actual framerate will end up being something like 62-63 fps.
