i think SIN wanted to published this on Monday but from now on I'll be posted the early access asap here since somewhat promised Sunday releases and I don't want his bullshit to get in the way of that. As usual my parts are always done on Saturday nights so today's episode's delays are on him, etc.

I don't have much to say this week except that it's exam season so I've been pretty busy with that. but if you have some big changes / suggestions now is a good time to make it since next week i'll be free to spend a lot of time on updating the format, graphics, whatever people want.

Nislt comment section might be pretty cancerous but at least people are seeing them and some of those people might check out comp which is good even if it is 1/10 people

the comment section is actually way better than i expected it to be especially when you compare it to normal nislt standards

They've been slowly getting better, and if there's anywhere you can make a difference by positively showing the joys of comp tf2 over pub tf2, it's there.

if youre not up to date on your nislt lore, a lot of people use the comments section of the newest video almost like a discussion board, and those people are usually pretty dumb. the comments on the actual video however seem to be pretty good for the most part for youtube (usually people hyped about MM or asking questions/talking about competitive, or just saying they enjoyed a serious video for a change)

obviously you'll get a lot of retarded comments because its youtube, but overall im just happy that so many nislt fans are enjoying the content

Wait what. They like make a comment about a topic and then everybody responds even if it has nothing to do with the video? How the fuck does that become a normal thing

And the script was actually written by one of the team members, Luuunch, and edited by Fractal. Shounic forgot to give em credit in the video, but yeah, it was basically them that created the hilarious script.

Was really hoping for a tyrone appearance but either way, that was...interesting, to say the least.

I was watching Dota Fortress from ToTH 2014 and apparently Shade had talked about doing this back in 2014. That's really cool that it ended up happening even if Shade wasn't the one to officially host it.

As I promised < Pendji >, I said I'd get back to you when my scheduled cleared up so here's some stuff I came up with.

The first two images are basically the same, except on the second one I cut down on the text. I've left it in to illustrate the issue I have with information density.

With too much stuff on screen, it becomes extremely confusing for your eyes to know where to rest and focus on, which is why it's done the way it is at the moment.

In production I wouldn't have all these things on screen at once though, I think I'll completely remove the bar on the right if people want information presented more up and center, or move the bar to the center. Either way they cannot both exist together in the way I've done in the mockup.

The third image is just experimenting with a different style for the 'boxes' for each map. The first style is way too visually cluttered but I'm posting it to inspire some ideas people may have / suggestions.

Also I'm thinking about making a vlog discussing basically all the issues people have brought up about SIN and so it gets addressed all in one place and people stop repeating the same comments. As well as posting animated design concepts. If you'd like to see these say something. And of course you can respond to anything I've said above even if you're not pendji :)

I personally think it would be best to forego the boxes and use the side panel from the first screenshot(as you're doing currently). I would however take out the "Match Winner" header and just grey out the loser and colour-highlight the winner under the "Match Results" header. Put the map scores below it and remove the "Final Score" header, but leaving a large enough empty space between the team names and the map scores. This will also leave you more space in case you get best-of-5 matches going the distance in the future.

It seems fine as it is, though.
