Either one, WOTL or Rebirth. Let's just talk about the game. Where you guys at with your progress? Favorite character? whatever man leggo

Only got the DLC today. Had a pretty decent Isaac run and tried to tackle Hush but too much bullet hell for me.
I liked afterbirth, Ultra Greed + Hush having scaling health was a decent idea. Stopping runs from getting so OP they're trivial and helping out shitty runs at the same time. That said, greed mode got kinda tedious/boring. Usually stick to regular runs at this point.

Once you get 1001% you can finally start playing the game for fun.
real plat god, working on the new afterbirth stuff...
i actually find greed mode to almost be more fun than the "base" game. i feel like it relies less on rng (mind you, that doesn't mean there still isn't a ton) and that my choices on items and whatnot have a greater impact on the run's outcome. also dat d20 in greed mode is too good.

63% done with all the achivements. I actually like greed mode not just because I want the Holy Mantle for the Lost :3
im at 41% i am golden god but i don't have the keeper or lost yet unfortunetly my favorite character is eve but i play as d6 isaac the most don't like maggy and cane
49% without any afterbirth achievements, was really strange of me hyping the DLC the whole year and then playing literally for 40 mins and reinstalling the game right after, the Cobalt/Dick marathon was enjoyable tho
my fav is Judas I guess, my least fav is ???

I used to play it a lot but i lost all the motivation
I finished the first isaac and then rebirth, now I'm completing afterbirth, greed mode is really boring for me so it'll take me a while to unlock the keeper
i have nightmares of the greed machine jamming after 2 cents with 1% chance

Best way to get your machine to 1000 coins in greedmode.
1. Reroll runs until you get the d20 on 1st floor.
2. Find a floor with a battery charge in the shop, complete the floor without picking up coins, d20 the drops, buy the battery over and over to keep d20ing, you'll get a shitload of everything including items from golden chests, (dont actually take these unless theyre damage ups though), you'll need to do this for 30 mins to an hour.
3. You're looking for 2 things from this process, a fool card and either a d6 or a blank card and dice shard or perthro rune. Keep the fool card in another room so you dont d20 it.
4. When you've got that, you also need to start buying items from the shop until you get "the battery" item (you can also use the shop to get your blank card/d6).
5. Reroll the items you got from d20ing until you get glowing hourglass, take whatever you want.
6. Take the fool card and hourglass down with you.
7. When you get to super greed, kill him, use the fool card, go back into the room and start donating. If you run out of money or it jams, use the hourglass. For whatever reason when you have double charges with the battery you can use it an infinite number of times.
8. Congrats, you donated 1000 coins in a single run. The setup is long but its way quicker than doing it the normal way.

RPG in rebirth, and out of all achievements for rebirth / afterbirth i'm at 83%.
They definitely made the lost a lot more playable with this DLC given he now starts with D4 and spectral tears (and holy mantle too, for a price), so pouring all that time & blood/sweat/tears into getting the lost unlocks in vanilla rebirth sort of made me sad
But now Godhead is a lot harder to unlock too, so I guess it all balances out.
At first I was really upset about them using damage scaling to health on Ultra Greed / Hush, but now that i've sank a lot more time into Afterbirth (like 40 hours at least), I can say I think it's a good thing. It makes you appreciate the bosses a lot more, imo.
My favorite character is actually Samson. I really like his unlocks and I feel in terms of balancing, he's very well done. IV Bag Samson to this day is still one of my favorite 'synergies'
I also really like Eden. Always a fun time with him.
I love Lusty Blood for bringing back Vanilla Samson too.
The new sacrifice room mechanic is also really cool. If you get like really powerful on an earlier floor, and have health to spare, you can get a mega satan kill without going through the trouble of angel rooms (which are a lot worse in afterbirth than they were prior imo)
i really love this game. also the 109 ARG was some of the coolest stuff i've ever seen. Reading that stuff happen live was an experience i'll never forget
