I'm new to talking to myself in an empty house how would I improve
(also any video errors was because the render messed up, not bad editing)

I mean it's not bad from the first minute that I watched, then I skipped through and the video seemed pretty well made, your voice wasn;'t annoying, and the mic quality was good. The 28 minute long thing may drive some people away since I don't really think anyone wants that long a vid (maybe 8-12 mins?) to watch. Good luck tho maybe there's some other people who know more about this than I do but if you made regular shorter vids I'd be down to watch.

You know it's good because it's 30 minutes long and I actually thought about watching it

Honestly the time will vary so I don't have a definite time. It could be like 5 minutes long sometimes but thank you for the feedback

length is the biggest issue.
you're going to want viewer retention, and long videos really drive viewers away. Try to edit out the down times and highlight the fun/good parts of your recording.

Unless you're northernlion. Then you can talk about 90s pop culture for 40 mins and still have 650k subs.

Don't be afraid to cut out parts where literally nothing is happening, it will shorten your video and make it have a higher quality as there are less "dull" moments

I have a weird fear of cutting out too much but I'll try

I feel like anyone who cuts stuff out of their original recording cuts out a hell of a lot more than you'd realize.

Okay I finally had the time to watch some of it. One thing I've noticed is that you tend to say "like" really often when you lose your train of thought and that really affects the flow of the commentary

try to play more for highlights than for your actual play if that makes sense. Make the focus of the video the interesting parts of the gameplay and let yrself be more of a side panel to the action
watching pub tf2 isn't very interesting: you need to be an incredibly good entertainer to pull it off imo
but even people who aren't fountains of charisma can manage to pare down an hour or 3 of relatively bland footage into 5-10 mins and show what they actually wanted to show, as well as make something genuinely interesting to watch. Never be afraid to make an incredibly short video after a day's recording. A short cool video is a lot more fun and better received than a medium length video of varying quality (b4nny)
