Hey guys, I've had my SS Rival for quite a while now but the side grips have worn off and it's just comfortable to play with. I've been hearing all about the Zowie and would like to buy one but am unsure which one is the right one for me. I'd like the same top notch performance as well as the same comfort from the Rival, I use a palm grip if that helps.
The EC1-a is your mouse.

The Ec2-a is a great mouse, and feels incredibly good in your hand. Very well made product. It's also important to note that zowie mice do not require the installation of any software to change the DPI. There is simply just a button on the bottom of the mouse.

I have pretty small hands but quite enjoy the EC1-A. Just really like the way it sits in my hand. Both are great though, just down to what you prefer.
zowie issued a recall for their new wave of omron mice, and production is halted until sometime in march
rexflo still has a limited stock of the omron switches left if you want one -- regardless, even the huano switch ones have become more expensive as a result of the recall

If you were interested in the Zowie EC2-A, this guys channel in general is great for mouse info and what not, would highly recommend you watch some of his stuff.

The new batches of rivals have fixed the rubber wearing out issue. (I have owned 3 rivals due to this issue). If you still want to change, keep in mind that the rival is one of the biggest mice out there.
