In celebration of our new 4v4 team, Rai eSports has decided to partner with serveme.tf to host a 4v4 tournament with key prizes based on the amount of teams that enter. Servers and the prize pool are graciously provided from Arie, the owner of serveme.tf and na.serveme.tf.

Why 4s though, like it would cost the same to sponsor a 6s team in ugc unless those extra 4 spots in a server are really breaking the bank and your organization can't afford it?
Nonetheless it's cool to see this organization picking up a tf2 team as one of their first. Good luck in the season and the tournament.

The owner is a friend (I'm just posting the information), and I am unable to play on wednesdays, so 6s is out of the questions unfortunately even though it is my favorite gamemode. If this goes well, we are looking to host a 6s tournament in the future so stay tuned for that.

please change the maps, majority of them are really fun to play BUT
koth_artefact_v1 - replace it! it's not ready to be played, both spawn rooms are bugged, sometimes you will just get teleported from door to the back of the spawn room ALSO the first ugc 4s season this map was played our entire team got multiple times stucked in the spawn room and we needed to suicide so we could move - i'll try to find vid/demo
i think there are many better maps, just check previous seasons i.e. koth_maple_ridge_b6 or cp_mojave_b2

tbh I'll start caring about 4v4 when all teams stop running Medic-Scout-Soldier-Demo and start being creative, outside the box, and the meta game stops relying so much on medics. why would anyone want to watch 6v6 minus two when they can just watch sixes. hey even better, ban medic altogether and see how team play style changes. we have no format in the game without medics right now, except for 1v1 MGE.

That's encouraging to hear. I gave up on 4v4 real early because that's all I was seeing both in leagues and in tournament play.
