I'm pretty sure that it's confirmed a new region isn't it? There was an image with a pokemon they were designing on a computer that appeared to look like some sort of woodpecker.

It's most likely gen 7, one thing Nintendo has going for them is the predictability factor. From Gen 3 on, they've made 4 main games a generation, especially with them not making a game last year, it has to be something big.

I'm excited to see what the new vehicles shown in the teaser are for! I'm also wondering what this new region will be based on, I've seen some people say it could be Singapore or southern Europe.

Im super excited. Always been a fan of the pokemon series, and i think this would make me buy a new 3ds after my old one broke. Just be careful when looking up the games, it is for your own benefit that you dont look up pokemon s&m, trust me.

i always loved the pokemon series but I never bothered to get a 3ds because at the time i was saving up for a computer and stuff like that but seeing all these cool ass games and how much fun people are having makes me wish I had gotten one and sticked closely to the series but the old games will still have a warm place in my heart

Still haven't played X&Y or OR&AS yet, been putting off buying a 3DS since I don't really play much handheld games. Guess now's the time to start saving money and getting caught up on what I missed. I'm excited.

Speculation points to Hawaii. License plates on cars were Hawaiian, the fire trucks were yellow and white (color of Hawaiian fire trucks), the bird is a Hawaiian or at the very least lives in Hawaii (Red-crested cardinal), an item from X/Y is a Tiki, and is said to be from a place "far from Kalos", the Vivillon that was shown is only obtainable in two places, one of them being Hawaii.The Vivillon in question has the Sun and the Moon in it's wings. There's also an island in Hawaii that's crescent shaped.

Depends on what you're looking to play, but as a general list of great games: Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (along with either of the zelda remakes if you want some nostalgia), Fire Emblem Awakening (or if you wanna skip that just move onto the new fate games), Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate (or similarly, just wait for MHX), Bravely Default (if you're looking for a solid RPG), Super Smash Bros 4 (obviously not as good as the WiiU version, but still a great game to have on the go), or if you just want a daily time killer, go for Animal Crossing New Leaf.
