Hello. I need your help with new mouse choice. So, my g400s is slowly dying, and due to small money budget, i can afford only used mouses, so my favourites are g5 and g700. But i don't have any knowledge in mouses stuff, so it would be nice if someone will help me. Thanks.

I would recomend you to look into newer mice, the g700 is very big and bulky. Try to look at Zowie mice or Steelseires mice, those are worth all the money you use. There's a lot of used mice on eBay, and Zowie mice last for a long time.
I would recomend the EC2-A or ZA12 if you have small hands or the EC1-A/ZA11 if you have slightly bigger or average hands :)

what's your budget? is there a site you will be using to look for used products?
there's a lot to be recommended at this point. it's gonna come down to what's available and at what prices

Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure i'll afford to buy Zowie (i can't find used ones in my city and it will be a bit expensive for me to get it from other city). I also used SS Kana for about 2 weeks and didn't liked it at all.

Edit: found one used Zowie EC1 for 52$, it's a bit expensive for me at the moment...

Currently my budget is around 40$ (But i'm from Russia, so 40$ is equal to 3000 russian roubles). I'm using a site called avito (https://www.avito.ru/) and it's Russian, so i'm not sure it will help much but thanks for your comment too.

I think, i can wait for 2 weeks to get some money and buy new logitech g303, but i'm afraid to get a faulty mouse. So would be nice to see your opinions on this point too.
Sorry for such a wall of text.

there seems to be a lot available on avito. i see a lot of other logitech mice, razer mice, steelseries, zowie..

anyway, if you like your G400s, it's available for 700rub, pretty cheap for a good mouse.
the G5 and G700 are also available, but since they're laser mice i just wouldn't recommend them for a gamer. not that they're bad, but just inferior. however, if you insist on the G5, then that one's available for very cheap (300rub) - nice price! the G700 would be more expensive and i don't really think it's worth it..

another option is to try and pinpoint the issue of your current G400s so you can fix it. because if you buy a used product, maybe the same thing will happen (or has already happened). but of course that would mean opening up the mouse and possibly ordering new parts..

that said, i also see cheap deathadders. 1200rub for the 3.5g and 1300rub for the 2013 edition. they're good options as well.
there's also a zowie EC1-A for 1500rub and a zowie EC2-A for 1500rub - also good mice..

i could probably go on and on since there seems to be a ton available. i do recommend going for an optical LED one and not a laser one. a new shape is always a gamble, so maybe that G400s should be good?

I would be glad to consider your variants, but i'm pretty sure you watched them in wrong city, but that's my fault (i didn't said what my city is). My city is Krasnodar, so the only decent variants i found so far are g5, g700, g100s, the only one deathadder (very expensive), one zowie (very expensive) and sensei (i don't like it).

The issue with my current g400s is probably dying cable (sometimes my mouse just not working at all for 2-3 seconds. Today i've tried to connect it in other port and it worked fine, without losing connection, for like 2-3 hours, and then again).

I had a similar situation as yours, and my solution was just buying another g400s, honestly. I had mine for almost 3 years.I went and checked out mice and I tried the rival 100, ec1-a, and g303 and I still didn't feel the same whatsoever. The trial and error just got me more frustrated.

is there no way you can order one online?

if not, that was just my situation, you can probably do some research and find one with a similar sensor/weight/grip that you could get used to

yeah, i think there's actually no way to order it. well, it's possible, but i'll have to wait almost a month to get it.

would be ideal to fix my current mouse but i'm afraid it's not a long-term solution.

so i'm still in doubts: to get used g5 or g700 or to get some money and buy new g303.
