have you guys done any trace routes to a NFO server?
Would be helpful to understand what's going on.
You might be able to contact your ISP and let them know what's going on, where the issue might be them or another upstream provider(s).

Tragic is NFO, so if you're having problems with one you will with the other

I think I might be having some issues too. My ping has been spiking to ~650ms on Chicago NFO servers.

your speed won't effect latency. you are just fortunate to not be effected by this. seems like a lot of people are though and ping usually jumps to about 650~

Have you guys ran trace routes, looked for ISP similarities, etc.? I had pretty bad routing from Texas about a month back as well as others on Time Warner in my area. NFO fixed it within a day after I told them my ISP and provided them trace routes to the servers I was having problems with.

I have Verizon Fios and have had these issues before. I call support, supply my traceroute, and they put the blame on nfo. I provide nfo with my traceroute and they say they're working on it. It's a nightmare. Many scrim nights were spent scrambling for a non nfo server that isn't terrible. Sadzone USA.
