In retrospect, opening every line with "I don't know" in response to your co-caster is a bit weak, but saying I don't know as another statement is completely fine.
That one guide from that professional e-sports caster mentions using synonyms for common words to spice up casts. Finding alternate words for "I don't know" if you're unsure about an idea your co-caster presents would be that spice-up

Like i said I didn't notice it. Sure the video has pointed out a slight flaw of the cast, but we all have our flaws. Your casts are the bomb and I appreciate your hard work. Use this video as a chance to continue improving, as the both of you do every cast. I wouldn't take this video too much to heart, even if it's hard not too when someone makes light of something you put a lot of work and energy into.

Truktruk and Getawhale saying "I don't know" is similar to how a lot of people say, "like" a lot of the time and don't actually realize it. Not necessarily a bad thing but once you are able to use different words or phrases than "I don't know" or "like" you just sound so much better.

No man you're both great casters, maybe getawhale says "I don't know" a lot but I've honestly never noticed it until now. It's certainly never taken anything away from any cast. This video didn't make me angry or anything that getawhale says that phrase a lot, it was just funny.
