The mayor Toronto from 2010 to 2014, Rob Ford, has passed away today after battling with cancer for 18 months.

can someone give any concrete evidence of how rob ford was a good mayor as he seemed like an all around bad one
he also did not seem like a great guy considering all the questionable things he did and said

He was influential in the cancelling of Transit City: A major project for improving public transit in Toronto. It ended up costing the city anyway because contracts had been signed by then, and they had to buy out those signed contracts. The rest of the time he was in office, there wasn't a single proposal made that even came close to what Transit City could have offered.

Huh? I was being sarcastic, the guy was a crackhead who lost money, built 0 of the subways he promised (construction which fucked up my tranist to school several times) and was overall a clown who made Toronto look even clownier on Jimmy Kimmel's show.

its alfa so hes probably serious. Rob Ford was a good guy, met him at city hall a few years ago. he was by no means a great mayor, toronto has been in much better hands with john tory the last few years.
