I'm surprised there's no thread about this already. Is anyone else super hyped for this? The Japanese version came out today, so there's a lot twitch streams going on right now. It looks incredible from what I've seen so far, but I don't want to spoil too much for myself so far. English version comes out April 12th.

Can only invade people with summons up? That's pretty fucking stupid. Even if you played alone, the risk of being invaded trying to find other players was fun. Guess the babies whining had an effect in the end.

No it makes sense. Whenever you invaded nerds who didnt want to be invaded, they'd just disconnect and leave you with wasted items. Now there's nothing you can do because you'll only be invaded in situations where you want to be online. It's either this or make the game always online, which would piss off everyone.

Also, don't preorder it and try your best to wait a few days after release. It's worth being sure that the pc port is good before buying.

hope it's more like dark souls 1 or demon's souls rather than dark souls 2. DS2 was a great game but I would love for it to be closer to the first dark souls. Demon's souls is actually my personal favorite out of the games, if you liked dark souls 1 or 2 it's worth buying a ps3 to play it in my opinion. Can't wait for this game though, I can hardly ever get into single player games but there's something about the souls games that hooks me.
