the tf2 community has a way of not letting you forget your past actions, dont worry man. Just keep doing whatever youre doing as long as youre not cheating and youll be fine. Worst case scenario all you gotta do is just switch accounts and pretend to be someone new lol

If there's never an opportunity for forgiveness after someone legitimately admits and acknowledges their faults what's the incentive for someone to ever stop doing bad things
fatswimdudewhat do you guys want him to do lol
smash his pc with a rock

i'd be down for not streaming/not trying to profit off the viewer base he grew only because he cheated
saami'd be down for not streaming/not trying to profit off the viewer base he grew only because he cheated
Why does it matter? He's not exploiting these people.
People have said he doesn't cheat anymore and especially not on stream and if these people are only there for the cheating they won't be around anymore. If they're still around then they clearly WANT to watch for him/regular TF2 pub gameplay then who are we to say "no you cant watch this person because he did something insanely retarded in the past".
Nobody is being hurt by this. As long as he isn't cheating it should not matter.

It's not as much about cheating as it is/was being the biggest promoter of said cheats on the entire scene. Lots of people are prone to experiment with cheats, hell, even I did it in some shitty free fps like 10+ years ago when I was like 12y old, but it should be a phase you eventually grow out off and not one where you proudly showcase it to the world. His youtube channel url is still youtube.com/user/maxboxlmaobox for fuck sake.
He was actively promoting his cheat usage proudly to dozens of thousands of people. His channel at the time had 20k subs, Idk how the fuck he reached that number but anyway, he was reaching out to more people than the teamfortresstv youtube channel and 5 times more people than the Comp.tf channel for example. Think about that for a second. And now he's riding that fame making money off youtube and donations off twitch with a holier-than-thou attitude because he doesn't cheat anymore.
Sorry but fuck this guy.

Kanecoa holier-than-thou attitude because he doesn't cheat anymore.
Is that true, though? I don't think he thinks he's holier or better than anyone. In fact, he's admitted that he's not proud of what he's done, but he hasn't tried to actively or continually tout the fact that he's not hacking as some sort of grandiose gesture. He's just tried to put it completely aside and move on.
E: Though the youtube url thing is still shitty. Didn't notice that. So maybe I'm wrong.

Did you click the youtube link? At all? The first video on his channel is an episode from a series about calling out people for hacking, as if he's a professional for being associated with lmaobox for so long.
If he actually tried to redeem himself he'd be talking about hacking as an issue, not pointing fingers as if he's some mastermind for having toggled on an aimbot for a few years. "it's the minority of trolls who wants me to hack!"
It's almost exclusively what people watch your videos for though lol.
It's like that Cobra guy or whatever, in the trading community, with a page full of donated max heads that people gave him after he started baiting people into scamming his alt account and reporting them, after he himself got a bad rep for having scammed thousands of dollars out of other people.
It's in his fucking name. Maybe if he quit associating himself with lmaobox, hacking or anything to do with fishy behavior in TF2, it'd be believable that he tried to fix things up, instead of trying to do a 180 and 'snitch' on others as if it'd redeem him.
From his awfully generic "Undertale is my life and I'm 15" profile I actually expected generic TF2 videos, not for a recovering alcoholic to solely talk about booze. I don't even know much about the guy but his behavior is even more sickening than just "lmao get gud" keybind spam.
