im looking for a new headset becasue my logitech g430s are coming to that time where i should start looking at what should replace them.
my budget is no more than $140 CAN and it would be good if they were wireless (if wireless is even viable at the moment), have a microphone, and are not too huge/bulky/rbg led gimmick.
i was looking at the logitech g930s but i heard that they disconnect very easily and pretty much everything messing with the signal.

zalman/modmic and headphones/earphones of your choice.

If you're interested in actual headsets
HyperX Cloud
Steelseries Siberia v2
I've owned both of these and they both have fantastic sound and mic quality. HyperX Cloud's sound quality and comfort are better than the Siberia tho imo.

save up and get yourself headphones and mic separately. or just get a cheap mic and good headphones. headsets heavily compromise sound and/or voice quality, or if they don't they're rly dare.
-frags are probably confirmation biased, or just naive. look at freq range, sens and impedance. granted, if you're just gaming neither audio nor mic quality matters all that much, so if that's the case you should probably just go for what's most comfortable and affordable.

Recently purchased a modmic and 598s and could not be happier. The 598s have amazing sound quality. I don't even think I can ever go back after that switch. Modmic is a real good quality mic too. It costed me about $181 total for both items (Might be cheaper since I have to pay 10% sales tax) but expect to pay around that much if you plan on saving that extra bit for the 598s Only issue with going mic/headphones are just the extra cables but it isn't really a big deal
I heard the 558s are almost as good as the 598s but considerably cheaper. I hadn't tried those myself but seeing as they are cheaper and fit into your budget much better than the 598s I'd definitely recommend going for that + a zalman/modmic. If you happen to go modmic, getting the muteless variant will save a good $10.

If I were you, I wouldn't spend the extra on a modmic. I went from a zalman to a uni-directional modmic, and mine could be defective or something, but the sound quality is actually considerably worse. Plus, it's annoying to worry about bending it when lying down or something.
