PC MASTER RACE qualifies for ETF2L Premiership

PC MASTER RACE, after three grueling days of playoffs, have beaten top5rocket in the Pre-Season Premiership Playoffs grand finals 3-1 (2-3 Process, 4-3 Badlands, 3-0 Product with one map upper bracket advantage) to take the final remaining spot in Premiership for ETF2L Season 24.

After the first two days of playoffs, 3/6, Damage in Garage, and cero miedo had been eliminated, while PC MASTER RACE had beaten top5rocket in a close 3-map series in the upper bracket final to secure a spot in the grand final with a one-map advantage. This left dd + 5 abs and top5rocket in the lower bracket final. In this matchup, top5rocket ultimately prevailed 2-1 to earn a best-of-five rematch against PC MASTER RACE with the Premiership spot on the line. With normal soldier tobs unavailable, PC MASTER RACE had to utilize DamnEasy for the finals.

The first map was Process, in which PC MASTER RACE found themselves down two rounds after 25 minutes. They struck back with a lightning round to come within one, but a miracle hold by top5rocket in the closing seconds of play preserved their lead and gave them the win 3-2, erasing the upper bracket map advantage.

On Badlands, PC MASTER RACE came out in full force, taking two quick rounds and then putting in two more to hold a commanding 4-0 lead. top5rocket valiantly fought back, however, scoring three rounds and taking control of the PC MASTER RACE forward point in the next to put themselves within striking distance of tie point. They were unable to convert, however, and PC MASTER RACE pushed them all the way back, taking the round just as time expired to give themselves a 5-3 lead and one map away from a Premiership spot.

It was thus do-or-die for top5rocket on Product. While all of the rounds were super close, top5rocket were unable to close out any of them, and thus PC MASTER RACE prevailed 3-0 to take the series and win the ETF2L Season 24 Pre-Season Premiership Playoffs.
