Hello. I am owner of the 48Hz monitor and i play as scout.
What do you think about this? Whether I will be able to achieve something? Or my monitor strongly limits me?
Thx for answers. I use Notebook.

Be who you want to be, dont let no monitor tell you scout is impossible. 100 dpm games may put you off but you must soldier on. Good luck out there

You're a strong, beautiful scout main who don't need no excessive refresh rates.
what kind of monitor and pc setup are you running where you can only get 48hz out of curiosity
60hz is possible on almost any semi-modern configuration

I don't want to be the party pooper but having a 120 is already quite the advantage over 60 hz, can't imagine how 48 feels tho. Also scout mains are fucking horrible people, might want to try soldier. Look at shadowburn, plays soldier, plays with 60hz, gets all the women and chills the with the hottest dudes.
but to answer will it limit me?
Yes. But that depends on what division you currently play in. Those boys in open might have their 240 hz monitors but they can't think rationally, so you might have that advantage.
But once you get higher it will most definitely hold you back like a crazy ex who just won't let go, so try to upgrade, you can find a used monitor for dirt cheap, even a 60hz I guess would be better.

Now i play in mid. When i tried play 6v6 i played as demo, later i try play as roamer, but scout pleasant me most of all.

You mean has to beg for money to get a new pc and monitor?

You mean 120hz monitor that puts a black frame between every frame?

Wow I saw what you did there, that was clever

I played against you the other day. You would do better with more Hz. That is almost guaranteed. Currently you didn't really play on mid level, sorry to say.

Really? I know scout who win high with 60Hz

Yeah, it's possible to play and win high with 60hz. But it helps as scout with more hz. But if you only flick aim as scout I guess you could do it. Tracking and "actual" aiming is a lot easier with higher Hz.

So if i will be good with 48Hz, when im buy 144Hz i will be like god? :D

Probably, I improved immensely when I went from 60 Hz to 144 Hz. Probably why I did 100 more Dpm than you in the scrim the other day

If you currently do like 100dpm, expect every single game to have 300 dpm with 144Hz, 144/48 = 3, maths don't lie babyy

It's a UHD monitor powered Notebook? Damn. Don't see how that's possible. Though, what resolution are you running?

48Hz is probably the limitation when you're using the full resolution but I'm pretty sure you can use a custom resolution at a higher refresh rate. Most monitors including laptop/netbook ones can hit 75Hz at 1080p or lower resolutions.
Noticed alot of people don't realize just how bad 48Hz is.
48Hz = 20.8ms between each refresh
60Hz = 16.7ms
75Hz = 13.3ms
120Hz = 8.3ms
144Hz = 6.9ms
If he could make the jump from 48Hz to 75Hz that would be almost as great as going from 60Hz to 120Hz.

Now for a real answer, this is it, that laptop must do 60Hz at 1080p and something like 75Hz at 720p

75Hz should work at 1600 x 900 and typically should still work at 1080p.

So, i havent other refresh rate when i try to change it on any resolution.
Can do it because the intel video card to which the monitor is connected doesn't support or lock on 48 Hz?
