Hi. At the begining i want to sorry for my english :)
Ive got some problems with my hud. I want to make hud which will look like Woolen Sleevelet's hud.

1. First problem. In my hud hp value is green. http://imgur.com/2xdwJlr
When my hp is low color of this is white (i want to change it for red but idk how) http://imgur.com/Uhv7IfV
And now the biggest problem, when i take health pack my hp is still white no green. http://imgur.com/FasyZGT

2. Second problem. How can i move killstreak?

3. And where can i make the border of this bigger? Cuz sometimes there is "%..." http://imgur.com/99gvLcK

go to your huds resource folder and delete/remove sourcescheme.res

1. It's an issue in your hudanimations, rays explains it better than I ever could.

2. Mess with the xpos and ypos in "huditemeffectmeter_killstreak.res" in your huds resource/ui folder and do "hud_reloadscheme" in console to see changes.

3. I'm sure this is just a common hud bug, but I could be wrong.

I've been trying to update an older hud to my liking and I seem to have an issue with my inspect panels that I can't seem to figure out how to fix, any clues?

Anyone know why my font size for my health + ammo won't change in size?
I'm trying to customise a m0rehud by changing it to my likings and one of the main things I want to change is the size of the health + ammo.
I add the new font size and type etc. in my clientscheme file, and change the font name in HudPlayerHealth.res and HudPlayerAmmo.res. No changes occur at all to the health + ammo.
Anything I've missed out?

You sure you installed the font at the root? (Usually bottom of clientscheme)

I haven't installed a whole new font, I've literally just added a new font size to the client scheme.

Here's what I added to the client scheme:

I've made sure it's all saved and I've restarted Tf2 and everything, still no change.

I'm not sure, it all looks fine to me. Did you relaunch tf2 to see the changes or do hud_reloadscheme? Hud_reloadscheme would've sufficed - If you relaunched instead you could maybe not see the changes clearly and they are already in effect.

Kind of a silly thing, but it's all I can think of.

I'm pretty sure there's a limit on font size in tf2, I think it's 72 for maximum tall value. I'm not 100% sure about that but I remember trying something similar myself and nothing worked, I chalked it up to a "tall" limit.

Clientscheme.res (compare the default file and check which ones you're missing)

If you really want to stay up to date a #base setup with the default clientscheme and applying your changes to fonts/borders/colors would make things a lot easier to maintain.

what defines the FG color of the last pagenumber in your backpack that has items? number in question is circled in red below, its off white beige-y (same as default tanLight but its not tanLight)

Well if you're image is "ow_flare" and you've got "ow flare" you should probably make sure the spelling and shit matches up.

I followed this guide http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/make-windows-fonts-look-like-mac-fonts/ and after I did that, it made Notepad++ display underscores as invisible. So no, it's not "ow flare".

Also thumbnails is in vgui, so you need that at the start, so it should be "vgui/replay/thumbnails/ow_flare"

My HUD uses a slightly modified language file to add shortcuts to certain buttons, but this means that I have to maintain and update the file whenever Valve fixes a typo or adds a new item or literally anything that changes words in the game.

Is there a way to reference a custom language file so that I don't have to maintain it? I'm thinking something similar to the animations manifest method or #base for clientscheme (which I still don't know what is. Could someone enlighten me to that technique?).

It's not that I mind maintaining the file, it's just that since the recent site update to huds.tf you have to manually update the master zip file containing the HUD. It doesn't just link to the github download anymore (it can track downloads on the site though which is dooooppeeee). This combined with the fact that the most recently updated HUD always appears first on the site makes me feel bad for having to update every time the language file changes. I don't want to hog the top spot for something as small as a language file update.

edit: the file is tf_english.txt by the way.
