My current mouse broke from me being a complete idiot while cleaning up my desk so its defiantly not covered by the warranty. Any recommendations for a new one? Or should I just go get another g502? I am fine with drivers being installed, It needs to have a mouse button on the side that I can use for push to talk in Mumble.

Information.
Dpi used 1000
Class played- Soldier
Inches per 360 - 5.3
Mouse pad- Steel Series QCK

Requirements
- I need an optical sensor, i do not want any kind of mouse acceleration
- Decently heavy mouse that can be accomplished with either stock weight or removable weights.
- Not a single chance in hell I am putting a Razer product on my desk

If the lack of weights for a mouse is something you can deal with, maybe get the Zowie EC1-A ?

Or a Deathadder. You can't really go wrong with those two, and their size is similar to the G502's.

If you really want weights, just buy another G502 I guess, very few brands provide mouses with additionnal weights, and Logitech is the only one I know of.

.

or maybe if you want to buy a new mouse every year because your LMB or scroll wheel break (unless you want to deal with their shitty RMA service)

if there isn't anything you didn't like with the g502 then just get another one, there's no outstanding technology in any other mouse, it's just grip, surface and aesthetic stuff or just extra money charged for the brand ((((RAZER))))

if it ain't broke don't fix it

most people go against the g502 because the weight is much higher than people prefer, even though the sensor is considered "unparalleled". if you actually like the weight (and shape) of the g502 than by all means go for it.

however, it is a bit on the more expensive side, so if budget is a problem than other options may become more enticing
