TF2 not working!!

Well , i was looking for the fix on google. i see that they got "config" folder. but when i go to my TF2 folder , there is no "config" folder.

Team Fortress 2/tf/cfg is where the config folder is

Maybe verify integrity cache for starters. To do this go to:
Steam Library>right click Team Fortress 2>Properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity of Game Cache

are you able to play other source games? ex Left 4 Dead, Portal, CSGO, etc

edit: nvm you dont actually own any other source games.

does the executable (hl2.exe) even show up in task manager when you go to launch it?

which you can launch by hitting ctrl+esc, more info, then the 'details' tab if you didnt know.

ctrl+shift+esc. ctrl+esc is a shortcut for the start menu.
