??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I mean if you don't act on your racist feeling or harm anyone what is the problem me familo?
if you're openly racist you mustn't give half a fuck what anybody thinks about you, so what's the point in asking this
If you hate someone just because of their race then you are a bad person, regardless of whether or not you "act on it"
most people are much worse people than they will admit to themselves, regardless of the reason
some people argue that they were born into it and after being racist was drilled into them for 20 years they don't know the difference between socially right or wrong
...but I think that's total bs

racism is a negative personality trait, and having it makes you a worse person than you would otherwise be. however, it's not like an on-off switch where either you're racist or you're not, it's a complicated and loaded term and everyone is at least a little bit racist in some way. how racist do you have to be to count as a "bad person", whatever that actually means? it's completely arbitrary.
terms like "bad person" are designed for people to compare themselves to so that they can feel superior, anyways. you might not openly despise black people, but what are you doing to actually fight racial injustice? or poverty? or are you just a dick in a completely unrelated manner? we all have problems, and instead of looking for real scumbags to compare yourself to so you can be content with yourself, strive for constant self-improvement and self-actualization instead.

are u acting on ur racist brainwaves or are u just existing and hating minorities while smiling at them every time u see them
Classic mustardoverlord quoting himself.
The meme team has an abundance of racial slurs used in mumble. I think at some point the line between memes and racism was forgotten.

Why would liking to run marathons make you a bad person?
Oh, you meant that other thing.
I dunno. More information required.

If you hold silly generalizations/prejudices about various races/nationalities as a whole, then while I think it's pretty stupid, that's just your dumb opinion and you can be morally sound and not a dickhead
If you start using those opinions to go down the road of judging and treating individuals worse based on their race/nationality, then yeah you're probably not the greatest person

That's like asking if being a b4nny sub makes you an idiot.
(The answer is yes)
(The answer is yes)
I mean i dont see how saying the n word would make me any more racist than black people saying it unless u say only they can use that word which would be racist
I like how mustard is the only one who thought about the question and the rest of you just called me a racist and bad person for asking
edit: originally i was gonna do "is rape wrong" but i figured u guys would act even more aggressively and emotionally to that

is forcing someone to do something thay they don't want to do wrong?
i wonder how people would've responded!

oh god
they warned me this day would come, but i never believed them
i assured them it would never be so
how could this happen to me
nearly ten years
at least three forums
countless lines of chat
a number of posts whose quality and sheer quantity would put the library of babel to shame
but here we are
the inevitable is occurring
I'm at least partially in agreement with mustardoverlord.
All joking aside, the sheer fact of being racist is not enough to deem someone a bad person. Sure, it's seen as a negative thing about them if it's ever scrutinized, but like mustard said, everyone is racist to some degree, whether it's that you hate an entire race and want to see genocide committed against them, or you simply feel less safe when you're surrounded by people of a specific race.
I think that defining a person as good or bad depends upon substantially more than one (or even many) unfavorable personality trait(s). All great people have done bad things, except Jesus, if you believe in that sort of thing.

If you're going to supply little substance in your question, you can expect little substance in the answers. You aren't our philosophy professor and the majority of people won't start defining words and social behaviors for you.

I mean the question was really just about seeing whether people would respond emotionally or not. If everyone just put a yes/no I wouldn't care I didn't ask for you to explain the deep meaning of it all to me.
