What's going to happen now with < 16 alive teams? Will teams just get matched against others they have already played? This seems most logical

We started the season with 17 IM teams, I don't see why each team in IM didn't have a complete 16 match schedule posted at the start of the season to play each team once the same way they do it for Invite every season. That would have been the most logical.

Why are teams getting duplicate matchups.
Our team hasn't played Saving Private IM or le sparklegang z yet but our gullywash matches are against Broking's and Megawac's team even though we've played those teams onc already.
Also some teams are only getting 1 duplicate while others are getting 2.
Edit: The only team that doesn't have duplicate matches is Saving Private IM

playing teams with a similar record to you will be a closer match. I'm pumped to play saam's team again cause its a reason to take gullywash super fucking serious.
plus if I had to play teams I haven't played yet we'd probably get a ffw and I like that we are the only top 8 team without one

It's bad because seeding becomes RNG.
Invite uses the system of "everyone plays everyone twice" to reduce RNG and it's universally-preferred, or so I hear, although they don't turn over the matches of dead teams.

How could it not be RNG, there aren't enough alive teams for it not to be somewhat. It's also not like this hasn't happened before.
