When I swipe my mouse something like 15-20 centimeters, my screen ingame starts turning instantly but it continues spinning for a bit after I've stopped moving my mouse. It's like my ingame view has to catch up with my mouse movement.
Is this a problem with my mouse itself or a windows or ingame setting?
Thanks in advance :)

You are probably hitting your mouse's malfunction speed, that means that your sensor stops tracking as it should at a certain speed or on a specific surface. It cannot be solved/fixed without buying a better gaming mouse

if it's got a good sensor, overclocking it will do the trick. it's worth a try before shelling out more money.

I did that too when i had a basic logitech mouse, but i'd say that it can be a temporary fix until you get a proper mouse. The difference was night and day (at least in my experience), and it's worth every cent if you game with it a lot

I remember I used to have this issue and I never found a fix, just bought a new mouse and used that for a while now
Yeah this is a basic logitech mouse, I used to have the b110 and that one was just perfect for me but when I needed a new one I got the b100 because the b110 was out of stock and it turns out that this one is way worse.
Can anyone link resources on how to overclock the thing I'm supposed to overclock? I know absolutely nothing about overclocking so I don't know what to look up on the internet

Works for windows 8/10, and i think it requires test mode. Worst case scenario, this could possibly kill your usb port, so be aware of that

Overclocking USB does nothing for modern mice in terms of tracking speed. This was only a thing with older avago or mlt04 sensors that where limited by bandwidth. Most modern mice have 1000 hz out of the box anyway.
Get a better mouse, judging by you being able to play with this mouse in general just get a G100s, should be available for cheap and tracks great.
Also hidusb doesn't need test mode anymore, signing was paid for by joshuastar and some other OCN/ESR members. Just get the latest version from sweetlow's website.
