While playing around 2 hours a day of scrims and mercing after those matches I feel like my throat is sore from using comms too much, I figured this would be normal since I'm not a really talkative person and don't talk much so I'd get used to it, however it's getting worse by the day even though I started drinking water during playtime I still feel like I'm losing my voice, any tips to help with it?
I feel like your problem should just fix itself, if it doesn't soon you might want to try resting your voice for a day or two, then maybe continuing as is. I don't know if this is a good comparison but I went from singing for an hour a week to 2-3 a day, My throat went bad at first but gradually got better.
Maybe look into drinking tea while you play? There are a bunch of different varieties that are good for your throat.
comming frequently every day will get you used to it
warm drinks, and not shouting too much. you shouldn't lose your voice just from talking at a conversational volume. if you can't be heard without shouting then tell ur whole team to be less shouty.

I'm not really shouting but I'll try to mess with my mic settings a bit.
Thanks everyone else for the tips, I'll look into teas.

Yeah, I never had problems with this because my job involves talking all day anyway (I tutor/TA math), so I definitely feel like it's something your body adjusts to. :3
See a doctor, you might need voice training. Do you remember breathing out through a straw with and without voice to make funny bubbling sounds as a kid? Do this every day, it's actually a really good voice exercise.
What kind of comms are we talking here? Did you comm a lot or was it the amount of power you put into your comms? One way to help avoid this problem in the future is to figure this out and maybe work on comming less(in terms of how important the comm is or not) or using less power. If you have a comm you feel that is super important or one that you use a lot you could bind it to a key. I binded "med down" and that always gets the message to my team to push, take advantage, or have my med prepare to start ubertracking once enemy med spawns.
But like everybody else said, tea helps a lot.
