Hello, today I was playing tf2 after the update and it was running normally until my game crashed and I had to restart my laptop and when launched tf2 again it was now forced to dxlevel 9 and to a new res (I used to have 640x480 stretched) i also now have really low fps (10,20~) and huge pings (100,200~). I tried setting my dxlevel back to 8 but it's still really lagged out. Anyone with similar problems?
Thanks!

I think someone said there was a problem with nvidia drivers "leaking fps" or something like that.

Edit: found the guy who actually knew what he was talking about

hurrykannI am so happy about the matchmaking part finally being out, but they still haven't fixed the biggest issue that most people who have Intel GPU+Nvidia GPU and uses the Optimus solution. The game starts to leak, memory leak...Most people will see
id color format! ShaderAPIDX8::CreateD3DTexture: Invalid color format!
spamming all over the console while being in a matchmaking game, it's been like this during beta and still not addressed. I hope they will eventually sort it out, because otherwise many people will suffer with unbearable FPS problems, since it just leaks and frames will start to crawl down to sub 20.

BlitheI think someone said there was a problem with nvidia drivers "leaking fps" or something like that.

To clarify it appears to be a problem with Optimus (Intel+NVIDIA GPU on some laptops only). If your laptop supports it (mine does) you might be able to just disable the Intel GPU in the BIOS. Battery life won't be as good but at least you'll perform better.
