Perhaps they intend to use stats from matchmaking (most/less used weapons ,etc) to figure out what s balanced and what s not ?

if they can barely distinguish a buff from a nerf, it explains so much about the weird decisions they take. Maybe they thought the quickiebomb was "nerfed" too because of the clip of 4? Maybe they don't understand the advantages of burst damage vs damage over time. (reserve shooter is basically the same shit, you get increased damage for a smaller clip)
