Take a look at yayahud's current main menu. I don't use the dropdown. Specifically look at the Play button's command, along with the Comp and MVM ones.

lobbycontainerframe and lobbypanel have been split up into _comp, _casual and _mvm #base versions, check if those add checkboxes

oh, well i think that's mainly because i selectively chose what to include and what not to include. for example i didn't update my main menu because i decided to not implement the dropdown.
