my family is big into board games and cards, so i can recommend some.
mau was the only thing we played for a long time, its really risky in that it can be the most fun youll ever have one night (if your friends are creative and/or funny), and the next night youll hate all of them lol. some other really popular card games we play are euchre (which is by far my favourite), queen of spades, hearts, pay your hand, and screw your neighbour (idk how many of these are like real games and how many have just been passed down through my family, but if you can find the rules theyre all really fun). we have also played president, philadelphia, 500, and cheat but we dont play those much anymore.
as for board games, catan was huge in my family for years. now we play ticket to ride, scattegories, apples to apples, anomia, coup, taboo, pictionary, trivial pursuit, balderdash, and escape. would recommend all of them. for best gaming experience, go camping.

JUNGLE SPEED
i've played million games, but this one has to be the best.
the idea is simple:
everyone has a stack of cards with different shapes / colors (faced down), and you just flip them over, one person at a time. whenever there's a match between your card and someone else's, you gotta grab that totem as fast as you can. if you successfully grab the totem, you get to give your cards to whoever you had a battle with (if it was a three- or fourway, you get to choose who gets the cards).
the first person to lose all his cards wins. (with 4 players we usually just go for #1 and #2, and then start a new round.)
there are a few "special cards", for example one that switches the rotation from clockwise to counter-clockwise, one that switches match by shape to match by color, one that forces everyone to flip a card simultaneously, etc.
the game's great when you're drinking
the game's great when you're sober
youtube should has some videos of the game if you're interested

My friends and I really enjoy playing this board game called "Betrayal at House on the Hill"

The game is really fun but it can be very confusing at first for newer players but once you get the hang of it its a blast. You can also play this board game on TableTop Simulator via Steam if you have it along with tons of other board games.

Eat, watch movies, talk, play games like poker or csgo. Mostly just watch movies and order pizza tho.
eat junk food, play any game that has retarded public servers, watch shitty movies, ticket to ride, splendor, make a fire/smores, fuck around at night in dodgy places of your local downtown
If you are into board-games, i recommend you Ghost Stories, it's a 4 players-coop game with an extreme difficulty, winning in your first couple of games is really a great achievement, you have to discuss your optimal plays and plan upcoming turns and it's great fun if that's your thing!
If you want a more "casual-friendly" boardgame i couldn't recommend an other game than Ticket-to-ride (i only played Europe and Swiss version), I already played it with more than 20 different people from 10 to 65 years old in my familly and friends, and everyone was amaze by the simplicity and the fun it was!
If you want simple fun and quick game go for : Jungle Speed, Mascarade, Dobble, Coloretto!

Seconding anybody who mentioned card games - Poker, Blackjack, Slapjack, Go Fish, etc (obviously not at a damn casino) or the other shit like Uno, Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, list goes on. Big 2 is probably my favourite traditional card game but it's a little tricky to get the hang of/explain if you're not used to card-shedding games. I'd recommend Mafia but that requires a little more than 4 people and an equal investment to D&D (which pays off really well if you're into RP). Also +1 for Catan & Blockus, adding Jenga to that list as well.
a note on ticket to ride (which was made by the same guy who made catan, both of which have won like international awards for being terrific board games), play the american version. the american version already wasnt perfect, but the european version made the mistakes in the american one worse, and made the game a little more complicated.
