That's actually a very good way to put it

But you're fixing your skill in the video game. You aren't fixing your aesthetics unless you're paying for plastic surgery.

very few dudes are outright ugly enough that even if they work out, buy nicer clothes, get a good haircut, get their teeth whitened etc that they can't be attractive (enough) to get a girl

its the interpersonal problems that are the hard part!!
