I've been running the beta for months and I was getting better performance on my 5x than I was with stable marshmallow so that bodes well for this release. Just waiting on allo now.

is there a way to know when your phone will be available to update to 7.0?
i looked it up and all i could find is that htc confirmed the 10 will at some point be able to but theres no dates

Keep in mind that it also has to do with your carrier. They can stop an update for as long as they like. Verizon is usually pretty bad about it, and the others are a little better but still not that great.
