I've offered a couple times but I guess I can again.

I used to, and can again, stream and cast. My internet can handle 720p, I know how to use OBS and NodeCG (and program for nodecg) and have the game knowledge necessary to handle camera. Casting I also have the knowledge for and work better as an analyst caster. I am also not playing this season (rip team) and have the time.

I would love to get into casting but I dunno if I have enough knowledge about the game. I was a casting admin for maincall.tf when we were actively streaming and I did some practice casts which had good feedback but never felt ready to do it live.

Alternatively I could do some writing. I follow news on tf.tv and etf2l as well as forum posts pretty much everyday and I've written statements and internal documentation for TF2stadium as well as other orgs outside of TF2.

Anyway I've rambled on enough I'll add you on steam when my computer's USB ports stop exploding.

I can certainly watch matches and do writeups if the community doesn't mind a new voice. I live in Hawaii, so I have some kind of advantage where I'm staying up far later than the NA scene and far earlier than the EU. I also have been following most of the competitive scene since around Quantic and Mihaly's Flow. I have decent grammar and I like to do research, fact-check/proof read all of my work and posts (for the most part).

I'm also a college student so I'm sarcastic, bitter, and have a hatred of the oxford comma that can only be satiated with terrible jokes, and tasteless humor. I can work on articles at odd hours if I'm asked to do a writeup on something in particular. I'm not particularly tied to any scene either, since I'm playing in sandbag and drop UGC this season so I haven't got much bias and think all the leagues, locally and internationally, are equally horrible. I also don't mind tracking down players for interviews if they don't immediately decline comment. If I wasn't playing UGC on Wednesday nights, and had prior casting experience, I wouldn't mind casting/camerawork either.

I'm on the TF.TV discord or on steam usually even if I don't really say very much very frequently, so if I'm at all suitable, you can raise my hopes up a little there before crushing them when I remember that most of the time, ESEA matches get delayed for weeks.

This thread is still stickied in the TF2 General Discussion forum, so I'm hoping it's still relevant.

My name's Cornpop, I've been casting low level competitive TF2 for a little over a year. You can find almost every cast I've ever done on my YouTube channel (the Iron Highlander stuff from last year is pretty bad though, you should probably stick with the recent stuff).

Recently I've been casting season 22 of ESEA Open and I've gotten a lot of support here on the forums, mostly in this thread and scattered around in the Open happenings thread. As much as I'd love to cast Open again, I think it'd be really cool to be able to cast with you guys next season on TeamFortress.tv. I think a lot of the problems with my casts are my lack of resources, like not being able to stream on Twitch, having to cast solo, and having to control the camera at the same time as I try to focus on commentating.

After being thrown to the wolves at the beginning of last season it would be foolish of us to not utilize all the people that want to cast and produce content for S23. I have a decently powerful computer and internet. My internet speed is 100Mbps/30Mbps depending on where I'm staying (parents are divorced) and I can meet the 60fps 720p 3500Kbps streaming requirement. I've been (albeit very shittily) casting open games the past season and would love to be able to do production/camerawork as being able to help the TF.TV team in any way would be both incredibly cool and a learning experience!
Edit: I'm available all weekdays from around 2:30EST on, so ETF2L games may be possible as well as of course ESEA games

I have no idea how available I'll be but I'm always willing to help out. I'm far from a pro but I would love to help out even at the im/open levels.
